Our Partners and Supporters

Any family of a disabled child or young person aged 0-25 living in Swale, Canterbury or Thanet, or that has a disabled child attending school in Swale, Canterbury or Thanet, can join 4us2. 4us2 adheres to the Disability and Equality Discrimination Act 2010 definition of disability. We are an inclusive organisation, but at present cannot offer services to children who have a diagnosis of ADHD /ADD alone, as our priority and use of limited resources must be for children with more complex or severe disabilities.

Professionals who work with disabled children or young people in the area, or who want to support 4us2’s work with families, can become associate members.

4us2 is a membership organisation, because we strive to represent the views of a diverse group of people: children and young people with a wide range of diabilities, their families and carers living in Swale, Thanet and Canterbury. We need to hear from our members regularly so that we know what they want us to do, what the problems are, and what is going really well. Members can directly influence what we do, what we campaign for, and how we plan services and projects for the future.

Members also get benefits from their membership. Members will pay reduced rates for tickets for events compared to non-members. They are also invited to social events and to our Annual General Meeting. We send out regular news letters to all members and information about upcoming events and services!
